Terms of Use Privacy Policy Processing of Sensitive Personal Information
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) is to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and basic procedures between Confrontier Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and the user (the “Member”) regarding the use of the K-Medical Service (the “Service”).
Article 2 (Definition of Service)
1. “Service” refers to the medical tourism information, hospital reservation brokerage, and concierge services provided through the Company's website and application.
2. “Member” refers to a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
Article 3 (Scope of Liability & Disclaimer)
1. The Company acts strictly as a "Brokerage Platform" to facilitate information exchange and reservations between medical institutions and patients. The Company does not perform any direct medical acts or practices defined under the Medical Service Act.
2. All legal responsibilities for actual medical services (diagnosis, examination, surgery, etc.) reside with the respective medical institution. The Company is not liable for medical malpractice or clinical outcomes.
Article 4 (Obligations of Members)
Members shall not engage in the following:
• Registering false information or impersonating others
• Unauthorized modification of information posted by the Company
• Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
Article 5 (Reservations and Refunds)
1. Reservation confirmation depends on the schedule and policies of the respective medical institution.
2. Matters concerning cancellation and refunds are governed by the Company’s 'Refund Policy' and the specific policies of the individual service provider.
Article 6 (Governing Law)
Any dispute between the Company and the Member shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s headquarters shall be the exclusive venue.

Confrontier Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws to protect the personal information of our Members.
1. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Identity verification and membership management
- Brokerage for medical appointments and consultations
- Provision of concierge services (eSIM, Hotel, etc.) and payment processing
- Customer support and dispute resolution
2. Items Collected
• Required: Email (ID), Name, Nationality, Password
• Optional/Service specific: Phone number, Gender, DOB, Passport info (for visa support), Desired treatment area/symptoms
• Automatic: Cookies, IP address, access logs
3. Provision to Third Parties
For service delivery, the Company provides information to:
• Recipients: Partner medical institutions and service partners selected by the Member.
• Items provided: Name, Nationality, Symptoms, Desired appointment date.
• Purpose: Reservation confirmation and medical consultation.
4. Retention and Destruction
1. Information is retained until membership withdrawal and destroyed immediately thereafter.
2. Certain data may be retained for legally mandated periods as required by relevant laws.

In accordance with Article 23 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company collects and uses the following sensitive personal information to provide optimal medical services.
1. Items Collected
Past medical history, current symptoms, medications, allergies, medical certificates, diagnostic findings, and treatment/surgical preferences.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Matching with specialized medical institutions and providing consultation data
- Accurate estimation of treatment costs and coordination of schedules
- Providing critical info to medical staff in case of emergencies
3. Retention Period
Sensitive information is retained until the purpose is achieved or membership is withdrawn, and destroyed immediately thereafter.
